Hello and Welcome. Beginning in the 1960s, I made it my goal to collect every 5-star record still available, and I continued my search for 40 years. While not all the records I list for sale reached that lofty goal, they do represent an undying search for the unique and wonderful in the world of sound. I'm happy to be able to offer them to you now. Here is what you're bidding on:
TITLE/ARTIST: "The Greatest Rock & Roll" by Various Artists on the Atlantic Records label (8001) in vintage original monaural sound, issued in 1957.
CONDITION OF VINYL: Excellent(Vinyl - with original Atlantic Black Label - is beautiful with a few light scuffs - graded visually using special daylight balanced spotlight). CONDITION OF JACKET: VG+(Jacket has moderate age/edge/corner/soiling wear - please see photos of actual album offered).
SPECIAL FEATURES: Very rare Atlantic Records original "black label" issue of "The Greatest Rock & Roll", featuring great songs and extensive liner notes on back cover, by Norman Orleck, adding up to a very nice package. NOTE: Of special interest with this collection is its inclusion of many less-known Atlantic hits on a beautiful deep-groove pressing.
