NM (near mint):   flawless but for a few very light, non-sounding wispy sleeve marks.

NM-: Almost NM. There may be number of  light, non-sounding wispy sleeve marks/spindle marks

Ex+: one or two very light, non-sounding hairline marks.

Ex:   A few more hairline / light marks. Maybe the odd pop or crackle

Ex minus : A few more hairline and light marks still. May be some light background noise, with the occasional pop, crackle and tick in places.

VG+:  Quite a few marks./surface noise.
