This is the original deep-groove RVG-stamped mono “P”-pressing of Freddie Hubbard “Goin’ Up” on the West 63rd labels of Blue Note BLP 4056. The playing surface is immaculate, with a nice luster; perhaps played once or twice. The laminated New York 23 cover shows slight wear at the top left and lower right corners; the back slick shows normal age toning, a light discoloration on the top edge, small breaks along the opening, and a crease at the lower left corner. Illustrated inner sleeve is included.
Personnel include Hank Mobley, McCoy Tyner, Paul Chambers, and Philly Joe Jones.
