This is the original 10” deep-groove RVG-etched “P”-pressing of Julius Watkins “Sextet” on the Lexington Avenue labels of Blue Note BLP 5053. The flat-rim playing surface is MINT, with a high luster; perhaps played once. The cover has tape residue – but no splits – along all edges; the back slick shows age toning and has small writing at the top edge.
Personnel include Frank Foster, Perry Lopez, George Butcher, Oscar Pettiford, and Kenny Clarke.
