My partners father recently passed away and we are selling his much loved Vinyl collection. All records had been stored lovingly and taken care of over the years.

We have used the below mentioned grading system and have been as honest as humanly possible with our assessments, using adequate lighting and by doing considerable research. If anything, we have in most cases under valued the quality to be on the safe side. We have also tried to provide as much information as possible and used clear pictures using good lighting.

Please note, we will never grade a vinyl mint, even if it clearly hasn't been played, as very little of his collection has ever been played.

All records have been cleaned using natural vinyl cleaner & high quality microfiber towels.

Postage
This will be sent via Royal Mail 2nd Class SIGNED FOR service.
All records will be sent using vinyl cardboard mailers with stiffeners for added protection.
Please note, I only offer Postage to the UK Only

Any questions please do get in touch, many thanks!

Vinyl Grading Scale

NM (Near Mint): Appears unplayed, no marks, scuffs or scratches.

EX (Excellent Condition): May have one or two visible imperfections, but only of a cosmetic nature (ie slight scuffs or superficial marks) that will likely not affect play.

VG+ (Very Good+) : Has a few visible imperfections. These may include scuffs, superficial marks and light scratches. A single light scratch is enough to grade an otherwise pristine record VG+, but a VG+ record will have no more than a few such scratches.

VG (Very Good): Will show the kind of imperfections found on VG+ records but in slightly greater numbers. A VG record will not bear scratches deep enough to be felt with a fingernail.

G+ (Good+): A considerable number of light scratches or just one scratch deep enough to be felt with a fingernail.

G (Good): A number of both light scratches and/or scratches deep enough to be felt with a fingernail.

Cover/sleeve Grading Scale

NM (Near Mint): Appears brand new & displays no imperfections, wear or signs of handling.

Ex (Excellent): Displays one or two superficial imperfections: frequently very light wear to the corners or seams.

VG+ (Very Good+): A few noticeable imperfections or signs of wear and handling but they will be neither prominant nor numerous. These can include a single split to the seams or spine not exceeding 1" in length, very light stains/discolouration, small crease marks and faint wear.

VG (Very Good): Same imperfections and signs of wear present on a VG+ cover, but more pronounced or present in greater numbers. Splits to the seam or spine will not exceed 5" in length. A single pronounced flaw, such as extremely prominent shelf or ring wear, marking, staining, writing or discolouration will cause an LP cover to receive this grade, as will an appreciable number of minor flaws.

G+ (Good Plus): A number of minor imperfections and one or more pronounced flaws such as prominent shelf or ring wear, marking, staining, writing or discolouration. Splits to the seams or spine will not exceed 8" in length.

G (Good): Heavy wear and several of the pronounced flaws described above. Splits to the seam or spine may exceed 8" in length.

My partners father kept his collection in extremely good condition therefore if anything doesn't fit within the above mentioned categories, which is very little, we will not consider selling it.
