I am helping a friend liquidate an estate that has an awesome collection of original jazz and blues albums in beautiful condition. I have some knowledge as a collector but have researched these as well. I will be listing 19 original Blue Note releases and will continue to list another 100 or so early jazz albums in the coming weeks. This album is in beautiful condition. The cover has a small nick on the bottom left corner and a small bend on the bottom right. The spine (unmarked) is excellent and the upper and lower seams are very nice with the only issue at the corners that are identified. It has nice gloss. The rear liner notes are clean but have some age staining (foxing) on the edges consistent with a 60+ year old album. This album is an August 1957 release. Side 1 and 2 have a deep groove. Both sides have the Plasylite "P' symbol or ear. Both sides have the RVG stamped. Side 1 shows 1567A-1 and side 2 has 1567B. Both sides and the cover have the W63rd address with no Inc. The cover shows the New York 23 address. The vinyl has a beaded rim.
The inner sleeve is a yellowed plain paper sleeve with a small split to the side. It appears to be original
