This is a highly sought after earliest Stereo “Red Lines” with NO printers credit error sleeve and -1/-1 earliest matrix numbered “Sold In The U.K.” labeled copy of Yellow Submarine. (There is a second “first pressing Red Lines Sleeve that was quickly issued to include Printed By Garrod & Lofthouse making these “NO Printers Credit Error Sleeves the earliest and most desirable ones). These are highly collectible and rare in any condition. This is in very presentable condition but is certainly not a top copy. This is a perfect collection starter/filler and is priced accordingly! This is your chance to own this rare record without spending hundreds of dollars. See below for condition details:

Matrix/Runout:

Side One:

YEX-715-1

Mother/Stampers: 2 MR

Side Two:

YEX-716-1

Mother/Stampers: 2 GL

Sleeve: VG

Very presentable sleeve with signs of wear, laminate lifts, light creasing and the begging of a split along the bottom seam’s opening edge. Rear has a small amount of browning and a small amount of wear along the opening edge.

(Grading is visual only- plays better than it looks! Contains crackles and pops but nothing too major- no skips, jumps or stalls) These UK 1st pressings were pressed with QUALITY providing nice bright clean audio) A good cleaning will certainly work wonders for diminishing the crackling as well)

Disc: VG- to G++ (conservative visual grading only - plays VG to VG+ with crackling being the only real issue which undoubtedly would be helped by a professional clean)

Disc still retains its original glossy sheen but contains many light superficial hairlines and several light, non feelable scratches and/or scuffs, though nothing too deep or major. Audiophiles wanting a dead quiet/zero crackle listening experience need not buy. It really does sound quite nice though.

Inner Sleeve: VG-

Correct, original black “Sugar Paper” Apple inner sleeve is in decent condition. These flimsy inner sleeves almost always have tears or splits and this is no exception. Light creasing...small tears along the top and center hole as well as surprisingly only one 1” seam split on one side. The rest of the seams remain remarkably unsplit.

Labels: VG+

Labels contain no writing or unwanted marks save for a scratch on one side. Light spindle trails and evidence of play. Beautiful.
