Here's your chance to own one of the landmark albums in the history of Hard Bop jazz, Hank Mobley's iconic "Soul Station" in its very first pressing, which includes Blue Note's Microgroove, Plastylite "Ear" P marking and the original "RVG" pressed into the deadwax. The address on the label is 47 W. 63rd, NYC, with the back cover saying 43 W. 61st. THIS IS THE REAL DEAL FIRST PRESSING and is one of the best copies I've ever seen. The cover rates a strong VG+, with discoloration on the back side. There are no seam splits and the cover is completely intact. Just today, a copy in lesser condition sold for over $450, and this cover still has its full black luster and bright blue hues. The LP is a strong VG to VG+, with only a few minor pops here and there. Overall, the sound is incredible, especially for a record this rare and of its age. Bid accordingly, I have been a discerning collector for a long time and this is a keeper. Please see my other auctions of rare and collectible LPs.
