1st issue of Deep Purple In Rock still new sealed in the factory shrinkwrap. There are less and less of these copies showing up on auctions, it is a rarity, especially in a new sealed condition. For the most part, the majority of these copies are located in private collections. 1st edition on the Army Green Warner Bros. label with the WS 1877 catalog number. K-Mart distribitor sticker is affixed to the shrinkwrap at the top right corner of the front cover. The album is in amazing condition in spite of its age. The top left corner of the front cover has a slight scuffing, other than that the shrinkwrap is fully consistent. The heavyweight vinyl and cardboard gatefold cover make this issue quite heavy. No doubts, it is the the very first issue of this classic album.
