This is likely the most rare original 1972 pressing of the Last Call of Shiloh in existence being an original pressing and never played.  This should be highly desired by record collectors.
In 1972, the Last Call of Shiloh performed at an event at the Foursquare Church in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho at 15th street and Sherman avenue.  I saw the advertisements and attended the event.  I like the band and music.  Afterwards I spoke with several of the band members and numerous more times at future events in North Idaho and Spokane, Washington.
Albums were $5.  But, I wanted to share the music with some of my Jesus People friends and so I purchased 5 of the original pressing albums.  My intent was to keep one album, which I still have and give away the other 4.  I gave away 3 albums, but somehow never gave the 4th album away and the original duct tape seal was never broken (see photo) and the vinyl has never been played.  The original albums were hand duct taped together as can be seen in the photos.  Some loosening of the 45+ year old duct tape and the letter T in the upper left is slighting degraded for some reason.  My personal copy cover for whatever reason is in better shape on the edges, but the seal is clearly cut open.  Also note that I made the financial transaction/purchase with band member Rick Saylor.
Other linear notes: Originally issued in 1972.  MEMBERS:  John Murray – guitar, bass, vocals; John Rosenberry – drums, percussion; Rick Saylor – guitar, bass, vocals; Jaimie Tsapatoris – guitar, bass, vocals; Vicky Tsapatoris – vocals, percussion; and Diane Murray – vocals. TRACKS:  Taste Of The Lord, Joy Of A Friend, New Jerusalem, New Life Arising, Great Day Of The Lord, Marriage Supper Of The Lamb, Message Of The Gospel, The Rapture, and Call To Brokenness. DESCRIPTION:  From Standpoint, Idaho; Jesus rock monster rarity; privately pressed in 1972 in a small quantity (200 or 500 copies as the band recalls). Originals also came in a hand-made and fragile cover, of which, if you can find a copy, usually comes without the cover or with a trashed one. The band was comprised of 4 guys and 2 gals; their sound was a combination of 60s influenced west-coast folk-rock and moody psychedelic rock with superb male/dreamy female vocals and dual-guitar work; similarities to some of Jefferson Airplane’s early work. All of the tracks were composed by the band. Regardless of the Christian themed lyrics this has a universal appeal for those who like their music loose, flowing, creative, off the map of mainstream Christian music, and with a genuine 60s spirit (no pun intended).     From The Acid Archives:
"Here's an album that was desperately in need of a reissue. It's an early Christian rock record, which, like Wilson McKinley, is basically a record of its time with Christian lyrics rather than something that has true roots in any Christian musical tradition (i.e.; church music). Much of it is lovely folk-rock, and there are a few very, very beautiful songs. The vocals are dreamy and, dare I say, heavenly. It's not as consistent as, say, Azitis or Wilson McKinley’s Spirit Of Elijah, but the best songs here are the pinnacle of this genre”.
Also note that I was in the early Jesus People Movement.  I have many rare albums in very good condition with no plans to sell at this time (This includes all of Wilson McKinley albums).  Normally, I would purchase an album and immediately (first playing) copy the album to 8-Track using my Sony TC-8 recorder.  Then, I would listen to the albums in my 1967 Dodge Van and later 1970 Dodge Challenger and other vehicles.  At home, we normally played the 8-tracks as priority to limit wear on vinyl albums on my Girard Turntable.
Also note that I recorded some live early Jesus People events.  I recorded Wilson McKinley at two events.  The first 1971 event, "Live At MOBY" was released for the first time about a year ago and is available from online retailers and ebay.  Three tracks of "Live At MOBY" are on YouTube with intention of putting all tracks on YouTube eventually.  The YouTube song versions include Band Chat not included on cd or MP3 purchases.
Thank you for checking this album's availability.
