Hi, up for sale today is a used copy of 4, 5 and 6 by Jackie McLean, released in 1956 on Prestige Records.  This is an original 1956 Mono first pressing of this album, and is in very good condition.  The catalog number of this is LP 7048, and grades as follows:

Jacket- VG
-Jacket is in overall very good condition, especially for its age
-There are no splits, bends, creases, or cut outs

-Jacket has overall light wear on the front, along with more noticeable wear to it on it's back cover
-There is some discoloration on the back cover of jacket as well

-There is a slight contour to Jacket, from what looks like possibly having other records stacked on it for years. It's not very noticeable by the naked eye, but is felt when trying to remove or insert vinyl record into jacket

-Upper left hand corner has slight ding to it
-Back bottom left corner has noticeable wear to it

Sleeve- Poor
-Sleeve is a generic dark-brown colored paper sleeve
-Sleeve is starting to disintegrate from age

-Because of tightness of jacket opening, cannot remove from jacket without possibly destroying sleeve

Vinyl- VG

-Vinyl looks very good, with no noticeable scratches or warping

-Record does have several small marks on it, along with a couple very light surface lines

-Needs a much more thorough and professional cleaning/ dusting

-Has RVG etched on the dead wax (Rudy Van Gelder)

-Vinyl plays good, as described by side:

Side A- Opens with significant crackling and a couple light pops, but evens out by mid-way through side.  From mid-point on, plays very nicely, with only a very quick skip towards the end, along with the occasional light crackle

Side B- Opens with light crackling, which all but dissapears a third of the side in.  Rest of side has the occasional crackle, with a slight amount more heard towards very end of vinyl

This is an incredibly rare Jazz record, and would make a great addition to any serious collection.  Bid accordingly.
