Original US 78 rpm press.
Excellent sides by Lorenzo Esteban Herrera (August 2, 1896 – 1960) from Caracas, Venezuela.  The best side is El Gabán, a great "straight" sung and violin led tune, somewhat reminiscent of Lionel Belasco (minus the West-Indies  influences). The flip though musically decent suffers a bit from the more "classic styled" singing. Likely recorded in the US (NY?) under the direction of Alfredo Cibelli (1885 - 1955) Mandolinist, singer, and Musical Director of  Victor's foreign department.

NOTE: all recordings were made with a digital USB connection Stanton player, and recorded in lo-fi audio  quality. Especially with the 78 rpm recordings the sound will be worse than when played on a proper set-up.
The crackle or hiss sound worse then when we play these on our old Lenco L70.
