This is the RVG-etched pressing of Donald Byrd “The Jazz Message” on the red labels (no deep-groove) of Savoy MG 12064. The playing surface is in near-new condition; with a high luster; perhaps played once. The laminated cover is clean throughout, with normal age toning on the back; slight lamination lifting at the top and bottom of the opening; 1” wear on the bottom seam, at the opening.
Personnel include Hank Mobley, Horace Silver, John LaPorta, Doug Watkins, and Kenny Clarke.
