Here is a MEGA RARE Little Richard lp from my collection offered up for sale: "Here's Little Richard" (Richard Penniman) The R&R icon's debut 1st album! This is an authentic 1957 1st pressing released by Specialty Records SP-100 "Long Playing Microgroove" Mono. This one with the EARLY 57 labels and different number (SP-100) than later 1957 pressings (SP-2100). This early 1st pressing is a rigid shellac type vinyl which is much more fragile than the later 1957 pressing. As a result, most of these didn't survive the 63 years since it's release. This scarce 1st pressing has a book value of up to $500.
This vinyl rates VG, is clean and glossy, has some sleeve wear and many light marks but nothing heavy or feel-able, has been PLAY TESTED. Plays very good ~ bright clear sound with background pops but no skips or jumps and an enjoyable listen! One of the labels has a small sticker. The cover rates VG, is clean with bright colors and gloss, great portrait of Little Richard with no ring wear, seams have masking tape from years ago, binder edge not readable, back has bright white, no stains, no signatures or writing, has a corner cut. (see pics).
Will be shipped in a .3 ml plastic sleeve
in a record box with tracking. **We will double box this album for extra protection. Check my eBay Store "Groove Vibrations" for more Little Richard and other early rock n roll record gems! Buy more than one item from our list at one time and we will ship them together. Media rate may take up to nine days but is usually much faster.
