This is the original deep-groove RVG-etched pressing of Clifford Brown “Memorial Album” on the West 50th St. labels of Prestige PRLP 7055. The playing surface appears to be unused; perhaps played once. The laminated West 50 St. cover is also in extraordinary condition – bright and clean throughout – with just ¼” wear on the bottom seam, at the opening.
Personnel include Gigi Gryce, Benny Golson, Art Farmer, Lars Gullin, Tadd Dameron, and Philly Joe Jones.
