CONDITION
Labels: VERY GOOD
Both are clean & bright but both have had stickers removed from the circular Parlophone symbol in the past. This has left some wear on both and a small section of missing paper on label 1.
Visual: VERY GOOD +
Clean, deep-gloss playing surfaces where the only blemishes are a single light paper scuff on side 1 and a longer but still light/non-feelable surface marks on side 2. There is no evidence of any groove-whitening from overplay. Close inspection beneath halogen light reveals nothing more than a few harmless wispy paper hairlines and a sparkling rainbow shine.
Audio: VERY GOOD
The sound is loud and exciting with a presence only a early 1st pressing of this album has. Our play-check detected a touch of playwear (most noticeable on the final track on each side) and a little vinyl background in the quieter passages. However, neither of these minor issues spoil the enjoyment of the album. There are no clicks, pops, jumps or any other significant audible faults on this historic disc.
Cover: VERY GOOD
A vibrant, fully intact example with an excellent clean & glossy front front panel laminate bearing just minor storagewear rubbing with a light bend to the lower right corner. There is some minor shelfwear to the lower corners themselves but no heavy bumps or bruising to any or any damage to the opening edges. The rear panel however is showing its age with some foxing and general storagewear marks. there is also some damage to the lower flipback but no writing or missing paper. Both seams are smooth with no flaking laminate and the spine is clean & fully worded.
Inner-sleeve: VERY GOOD
General wear with the album and group written in one corner.
