This is the first album by the great Mexican rock singer Manolo Muñoz, famous for being in Los Gibson Boys. This first album is one of the great early rock and roll albums to come out of Mexico. He was in some ways like a Mexican Elvis. He even does a version of "It's Now or Never" ("Ahora o Nunca") here. Also he does a Spanish version of Diana and Itsy Bitsy Teenie Weenie Yellow Polka-Dot Bikini, and a few other classic rock and roll numbers from those days. This is a very rare US pressing on the Musart label, which is actually much rarer than the Cuban or Mexican pressings, and sounds better. I have had about 4 or 5 of the Mexican pressing before and they all sounded a little distorted and scratchy even in near-mint condition. This one is not perfect but sounds way better. There are some surface scuffs and marks but I have cleaned it up and it sounds really great. A little background crackle in places but overall clear and loud. A fantastic sounding album with absolutely great songs, in my opinion his best. The cover has seam splits on the top and bottom about halfway across, and a name written on the front. There is general wear, but it is still intact with a solid spine and not bad looking, with the front image clear and not nearly as badly ruined as most copies. Really a nice mid-level copy that plays just great. And very rare in any shape.
