Beautiful copy of Dean Martin's most beautiful album, Dream with Dean: the Intimate Dean Martin, on original 1964 first pressing Reprise LP R-6123. Still in the shrinkwrap and almost perfectly mint. Plays flawlessly and looks immaculate. A glorious copy. And the music is glorious! This is a very different sort of record from his usual stuff. Here he is singing with a small jazz combo featuring the great Barney Kessel on guitar, and Red Mitchell on bass. Really pared down and intimate, as the title suggests. On this record more than any other you can hear what Dino was really made of as a singer, as a musician. Really a lovely, lovely record, and an incredible showcase for Barney Kessel's unparalleled playing as backup for a singer. Similar to the first (and best) Julie London album. A masterpiece. And an incredible copy!
