You are bidding on a gently used copy of “School’s Out” by Alice Cooper on vinyl, released by Warner Bros. records. Despite my best research, I could not find an exact match for this pressing. It’s definitely US and the “T” in the run-outs indicate it’s a Terre Haute pressing. However, while the LP labels match those which were used for the original pressing, the listing of song titles on the back cover seems to indicate this is a repress. I cannot guarantee this is an original pressing so I’m not listing it as such, however the absence of a barcode confirms if this is a repress it’s a very early one, most likely issued between 1972 & 1974.

Vinyl is in overall VG condition, easily VG+ if the record was polished. The wax displays several visible handling streaks on the Side A surface when held up to the light, most of which could likely be removed by cleaning the record. There are also a couple faint but visible hairlines, but they do not feel deep enough to cause problems. The inner sleeve is brown paper and in good shape, visible in photo (the LP is resting atop it). The jacket shows standard shelf wear as well as normal wear along the edges, corners, and spine. One of the seams holding the top of the “desk” in place has split apart over time (see separate photo) but the jacket still holds the LP snugly in place. The “legs” on the back of the “desk” have not been punched out and are still in place. See photos for specifics; they are not stock, this is the actual item you are purchasing.

PLEASE NOTE: I am not a professional grader. As a collector, I have vinyl that looks absolutely destroyed but plays perfectly without a single skip, and I also have records I purchased Brand New that don’t have a single mark on them but skipped for no evident reason the first time I played them out of the shrink wrap. It’s just the nature of the format. All of the records I’m selling are graded based on the best assessment I can make by looking at the vinyl—obviously, I can’t listen to every record start to finish before listing them, so I’m providing the most detailed photos and descriptions I can to make sure anyone who purchases from me knows exactly what they’re buying and is satisfied. Cool? Cool.
