VINYL: VG a number of superficial lines, pops here & there, there is a scratch on Communication Breakdown that causes pops during 25 seconds of an instrumental not a copy for an audiophile but a still enjoyable VG  SLEEVE: VG looks much better than VG but I carefully and invisibly glue repaired 2 to 3 inch splits on both the top & bottom edge.  If you look at it you likely wouldn't know it was repaired but it has made the opening a little tighter hence my use of a rounded plastic inner sleeve

M (Mint) I never use this grade.

NM (Near Mint): Like to new w/ no more than a couple of relatively slight imperfections .

EX:  Not far from being NM 

VG+ : Used but not abused. Will have some audible imperfections but still very easy to enjoy.

VG : Many only surface lines or may have a small scratches that doesn't repeat. Background sound but still  enjoyable.

 Cover defects will be noted.

VG-: significant background sound from various defects but music always quite audible above it.

 Cover has some damage that will be noted.
