WOW!! For sale is a monstrously rare and beautiful private pressing of Eddie and Lisa - Pages Of The Past…legendary underground psych-folk female vocalist…along the lines of Joan Baez or Joni Mitchell. This is a hauntingly beautiful psych folk album by a duo from Central California in the 1970s. This was a private custom pressing not on any label…as a result not many copies were pressed, fewer survived and therefore these are highly sought after!

This copy is quite nice- a crease to one corner and very light wear but a beautiful VG+ disc. These do not come up for sale often!! The only other available on eBay right now ship from Japan and is listed for well over $1,000!! This may be your only chance to grab this one anytime soon and certainly the most affordable copy you’ll find.

Sleeve: (STRONG) VG to VG+

Beautiful crisp white sleeve has a crease to the lower right hand corner when viewing from the front but not on the back. About a 1/2” of cracking is very close to becoming (but has not quite become) a small split on the top opening edge but that’s it. All other seams are solid and it’s all around a well kept sleeve. No writing. Some very light wear/age spots here and there but nothing major at all. See pics! I’ve tried to go out of my way to highlight and detail any and all flaws in both description and camera angles.

Disc: VG+

SHINY glossy disc has all of its original sheen! There are some light wispy superficial hairlines and tiny marks visible only when tilted under bright light. No deep scratches or scuffs that would affect play. Beauty!

Labels: EX

BEAUTIFUL red labels have no writing or unwanted marks. A few light spindle traces only.

Original generic paper inner sleeve is included, however the disc has been ultrasonic cleaned and is being stored in a MoFi archival inner sleeve. When shipped, the disc will be placed behind the sleeve and put inside a high quality resealable Japanese Mylar outer sleeve. This will then be carefully sandwiched between two cardboard stiffeners and mailed in a high quality LP mailer with extra long corners to avoid any damage during transit. As a collector myself, I understand the importance of good packaging! Please read my seller’s feedback if you have any concerns.

Shipping:

$5 Media Mail in the USA and will include insurance…but due to the value of this one I am highly recommending shipping Priority for $15. Insurance will be included there as well. I’ll be eating some of the cost there but If you really prefer Media Mail, by all means. I will package it extremely carefully as described above, I just would just not risk the extra delay if it was me on the buying end.

International shipping:

$30 USPS 1st Class International Shipping. I will ship to most countries but not all, so please message me before buying if you live outside the USA. I’m sorry I will not include a lower sold price on the customs form. Sold price is the price I will put on the form.

Don’t hesitate to ask any questions you might have and thank you for looking!

Grading System:

SS (Still Sealed)

Unopened records, still in original shrink wrap. In original manufactured condition unless otherwise noted (i.e. evidence of mildew or bent corners, etc.)

M (Mint)

The record and sleeve are in perfect, original condition. The record may have been played but will have no evidence of deterioration. (I will only use this grade on SEALED records that appear to be Mint as I believe any non-new, opened record cannot be truly called MINT.

NM (Near Mint)

A nearly perfect record. Any visible defects are of the type that "disappear" when the record is tilted under a strong light and they should not affect play. Sleeves in near mint condition will have no obvious signs of wear. Practically imperceptible ring wear may be allowed but no creases, seam-splits, or other easily detected flaws will be present.

EX (Excellent)

A very clean record. Near mint except for slight, superficial signs of wear. Sleeves in this condition may have marginal defects, but will not have significant creases or splits.

VG+ (Very Good Plus)

A well-cared-for record that is noticeably less than perfect, but defects are not visually or audibly distracting. Record surfaces may have slight scuffs or light scratches, but are still primarily clean. Sleeves may have some creases or minor ring wear, but should not be split.

VG (Very Good)

A used, reasonable copy to play. Many of the defects found in a VG+ copy will be more pronounced in VG condition. Surface noise may be evident and sleeves may look worn, but the record is still a decent copy.

G (Good)

A well-worn record that is still playable. Good does not necessarily mean "bad" but a record in this condition will have audible distractions and may have visible groove wear. Sleeves may have all manner of defects, but are still intact.

FA (Fair) and P (Poor)

These grades are for beat-up records. I will only sell records in these grades if they are extremely rare and sought-after.
