Getting ready to move, have to downsize and sell my vinyl albums. Don't have the time to sell them individually, so I'm dividing them into various collections -- Grateful Dead, Jam Bands & Country Rock, Classic Rock, Punk & New Wave, Beatles & Rolling Stones, Singers & Songwriters, and Assorted Artists 1960s-1970s. This listing is for my huge Grateful Dead album collection. It includes studio and live albums by the Dead, as well as hard-to-find solo albums and side projects by Jerry Garcia, Bob Weir, Phil Lesh, Mickey Hart, Bill Kreutzman, Brent Mydland, Keith & Donna Godchaux, and Dead lyricist Robert Hunter. It also includes two bootlegs, a 12" 45 RPM single, a movie soundtrack, and guest appearances by the Dead on other artists' albums. As is to be expected with a lot of this size, the condition of the albums varies greatly. The vast majority of the albums are in very good / near mint / and mint (still sealed) condition. Only a few of the early albums got extensive play and wear, but are still in good, playable condition. The rarer albums are actually in the best shape -- they were played on much better equipment (Hitachi HT 51 Direct Drive turntable, Sonus K cartridge), and I would often buy an album, play it ONCE while recording it on cassette, and never play the album again. There are 60 albums (and one 12" single) in this lot, totaling 69 LPs -- 7 double albums and one triple. There are doubles of three albums -- Workingman's Dead, American Beauty, and Wake Of The Flood. However, the Wake Of The Flood duplicate is actually part of a rare import double album -- it's combined with From The Mars Hotel to make a two record set -- see Photo 3. One of the records is a rare 12" 45 RPM single of Touch Of Grey / My Brother Esau. The first photo shows the entire lot, except for the duplicate Wake Of The Flood, since it's on the back of Mars Hotel -- seven rows of eight albums each, plus four albums in the bottom row. Photo 2 -- Grateful Dead; Anthem Of The Sun; Live Dead (double album); Workingman's Dead (duplicate not shown); American Beauty (duplicate not shown); Aoxomoxoa. Please note that since I am in the process of moving from Hawaii to the Mainland, I can't accept returns on my large album lots, although I guarantee the number of albums and titles included. If you need more information about a specific album, please ask any questions BEFORE bidding -- I'll gladly answer them to the best of my ability, and will supply additional photos upon request. I only ship to the U.S., and buyer's choice of shipping options -- USPS Media Mail, slower (about 3 weeks or so) but less expensive, or FedEx2Day (may take longer than 2 days shipped from Hawaii).
