The Cars were formed in Boston in 1976 from the new wave scene of the late 1970s. Ric Ocasek sits down with Jim Ladd for this rare early career discussion, with various music cuts from the band from Boston. This vinyl for broadcast airplay is in very good condition with limited playback and a must addition for fans of Ric and The Cars. Original playback take sheet is also included. Jim Ladd is one of the few notable remaining freeform rock DJs in United States commercial radio. Ladd first gained national prominence as host of this hour long, nationally syndicated radio program Innerview, which aired weekly on over 160 stations nationwide for twelve years.
