Andrew Hill on Blue Note 4203
This is the rare original mono pressing of Andrew Hill “Andrew!” on the Liberty labels of Blue Note 4203. The playing surface is in near-new condition, with a nice luster; perhaps played once. The coated cover shows minor age toning on the back slick and slight rubbing along the spine: “MONO” sticker at the top of the front, indicating one of the seventeen Blue Note mono issues that were specially pressed for radio stations that had not yet converted to stereo transmission. Illustrated inner sleeve is included.
Personnel include John Gilmore, Bobby Hutcherson, Richard Davis, and Joe Chambers.
