R.E.M. Fables Of The Reconstruction LP Sterling 1st Pressing Vinyl VG+.
From ‘83 to ‘86 REM went on a great run, releasing four amazing studio albums, all with slightly different personalities. Fables, the third, is more melancholy and meditative than the others, maybe their Rubber Soul.
To accurately, honestly assess the vinyl condition I’ve just listened to the album in its entirety
Vinyl VG+… some surface scratches and normal background noise. Overall very good. The scratch in the photo is much less than it might appear. I listened intently to this section several times and heard only a little pop. No skip.
Sleeve VG… very light ring wear and wear on one edge. The sleeve grading can be pretty subjective so please have a look at the photos.
Inlay Inner sleeve EX… crisp, clean, no marks or seam splits.
