THE CURE - The Head On The Door 1985 Elektra/Asylum 60435-Vinyl LP.
To honestly and accurately assess condition, I just listened start to finish to entire album— which was the record that launched The Cure into the stratosphere in the US. This is the excellent Atlantic Studios D.K. Pressing.
Media/Vinyl VG+… sounds great, no skips, minimal background noise. If I were grading on sound alone, i would rate it EX (excellent) but the vinyl isn’t quite clean enough, so I knocked it down a notch. But the sound quality is high. Please see photos.
Sleeve/Cover Good +… I follow the grading system best as I can but some subjectivity inevitably creeps in. No marks, clean sleeve, but wear on the edges and corners and a few creases are noteworthy. And one seam has separated. Please see photos.
Inlay/Inner Sleeve Good +… seam separation on on edge.
Wrapped with care and shipped in sturdy reinforced mailer designed to protect vinyl records.
