Bill Evans on Riverside 9399

This is the rare deep-groove first stereo pressing of Bill Evans “Waltz for Debby” on the black and silver reel-logo labels of Riverside RLP 9399 (the rare “RLP” prefix pre-dates the “RS” pressings).  The playing surface appears to be in near-new condition, with a high luster; perhaps played once.  The cover is bright and clean throughout; clear tape along the spine and a 7 ½” split along the bottom seam, at the opening; superficial small chipping along the top seam and a 2 ½” opening at the spine.

Personnel include Scott LaFaro and Paul Motian.
