I bought this when it came out, have treated it gently and carefully. To more honestly and accurately grade condition of vinyl, I just listened to entire album for the first time in many years. In particular, I was concerned about a scratch (see photos), which though I listened for intently, didn’t hear a sound or any affect on the sound quality. Vinyl is in wonderful condition, no skips, sounds warm and vibrant.
Very low print number: 008
A side note: On listening to album today, I was reminded what a heartfelt, mesmerizing work this is, an open-hearted internal look into a young person’s loneliness and struggle with despair, wondering about the future. Melancholic and moving. I like to think that in the end life turned out OK for singer Mark Burgess and members of the band.
Media/Vinyl VG+…except for the one scratch mentioned earlier, I would have graded vinyl EX. No skips, very little background noise.
Sleeve/Cover EX…some light ring wear, a few small shallow creases on one edge (see photos) but cover is clean, crisp, whole.
Inlay/Inner Sleeve… new poly lined paper protective insert.
Wrapped with care and shipped in sturdy reinforced mailer designed specifically to protect vinyl records.
