Paul Desmond Bossa Antigua Nova Original 1965 RCA Victor LPM3320 ((( STEREO )))).
The much harder to find true Stereo pressing -Originsl 1st pressing of the Incomparable, laid-back, master of the alto Paul Desmond - and what a super cool sense of self depreciating humor as indicated by the liner notes he wrote ( see photo ). This album did not have a heavy promotion machine behind it back during its ‘65 release date. High Fidelity / Stereo magazines of the times did have small adverts andI beliee Desmond play tracks from it at small jazz venues in the Bay Area at the time but selectively so. In any case fantastic alto playing he on his own with Jim Hall.
Vinyl: GLOSSY EXCELLENT/ ( does have a very small feelable mark across track 3 Side - other than that clearly excellent well cared for record now in. Japanese anti static sleeve )
Cover: NM ( super clean like you just brought it home from your old independent record store- and yes, it retains its original ‘cellophane’ outer sleeve wrap!)
