PLAY TESTED MARCH 25TH.

I’d describe the overall audio experience, of this ‘Loud Cut’ first pressing vinyl album as VG, and if not for a momentary skip in verse one of Norwegian Wood, it would be graded excellent. Sleeve is VG+, and with an original Emitex inner also as VG.

‘Gramophone’ rim text, ‘Sold In U.K.’ label text, lined Emitex inner, KT Tax Code to side 1 label, with the early Sans-serif type face.

There is the usual minor/faint static on intros and run out groves, but there is very little static/‘crackle and pop’ throughout, or between tracks, with just a very momentary skip towards the end of verse one of ‘Norwegian Wood’. There are no further skips and jumps, and the overall audio experience is minimum VG.

The vinyl appearance is VG, with minor hairlines/marks, with the exception (see photo) of the more obvious mark/scratch to side 1 across tracks 2 and 3. However, as stated above, this only causes one minor skip in Norwegian Wood.

The labels are generally clean and bright, with just minor spindle ware, and KT Tax Code to side 1 label.

The original lined Emitex inner sleeve has some creasing, small tare above circular hole to one side, but is free of graffiti, seem splits etc.

The G&L laminated flipback cover is VG+, and if not for the crease across the front bottom right corner, would be excellent. Some very minor feathering, but with a lovely clean back and superbly strong, easily legible spine.

I’d describe the overall grading of the item as VG+.

I do though tend to be quite conservative in my gradings/descriptions, as I know how disappointing it can be when you purchase a record that doesn’t measure up to the grading.

My previous feedback, which is 100% positive, will indicate the honesty and reliability of my gradings.
