Roosevelt Sykes The Honeydripper LP Blues (Folkways FS3827 USA 1961)+Insert NM/NM

On Folkways (Cat: FS3827) Vinyl LP released in 1961, USA. Sykes is accompanied by Memphis Slim on side A track 4.

The record was play-graded & plays perfectly with no clicks or crackles, and no jumping or sticking. The record is as near to mint that it gets, but because it has been played is graded NEAR MINT. The thick card cover is in near perfect condition & is graded NEAR MINT. There is a 4-page information insert which includes full lyrics, and this is in MINT condition. See my descriptions below.

The record has no writing or stickers on the labels, & visually the record looks in great condition. The record was play-graded & plays perfectly with no clicks or crackles, and no jumping or sticking. The record is graded NEAR MINT.

The 4-page paper insert has no creases, tears, writing or other blemishes, and is graded MINT. Full lyrics of all songs are printed on it.

The thick card cover has a textured finish matt surface on the front, and slight sheen on the rear. There is a tiny (3mm) corner crease at each of the lower edge corners, and the upper spine corner. There is also a very thin short ‘dink’ at the front open edge measuring approx. 2mm thin (however this dink is not repeated on the rear open edge). This is a very impressive cover, given its age, and has no other creases, writing, stickers or other blemishes. The cover is graded NEAR MINT.

PACKAGING: This item will be protected inside a strong thick card pro-mailer with a stiffener – see my feedback.  I prepare a record for despatch by re-packaging it in a new polythene-lined inner sleeve, and place it separately from the company cover to avoid splitting the seam. The record could otherwise slip around inside and cut through the edge of the card cover. To add further protection, I place the whole package inside a polythene outer slip case. If you have any alternative request for packaging, please contact me before making payment.
