I RECENTLY PURCHASED FROM AN ESTATE SALE AN EXTREMELY RARE COLLECTION OF OTIS REDDING 45 RPM RECORDS AND OTHER LOCAL GEORGIA RECORDING ARTISTS WHO RECORDED ON THE CONFEDERATE LABEL. THE LATE BOBBY SMITH WHO WAS FROM MACON, GEORGIA WAS THE FOUNDER OF CONFEDERATE RECORDS AND ALSO RECORDED OTIS REDDINGS VERY FIRST RECORD "SHOUT BAMALAMA" ON THE CONFEDERATE LABEL. THE CONFEDERATE LABEL, DUE TO OBVIOUS REASONS WAS LATER CHANGED TO THE ORBIT LABEL. THIS RECORD BY JEAN KIFF, "THE ANSWER TO HEY BABY / MY CANDY MAN" WAS RECORDED ON THE CONFEDERATE 140 LABEL IN 1962. THE RECORD APPEARS TO BE IN VERY GOOD CONDITION WITH SOME LIGHT SURFACE SCRATCHES BUT PLAYS AND SOUNDS VERY NICE ON BOTH SIDES. THIS IS A VERY RARE RECORD.
BE SURE TO CHECK OUT ALL OF MY OTHER LISTINGS TO SEE MORE OF THESE RECORDS..
I WILL DO COMBINED SHIPPING CHARGES ON MULTIPLE RECORDS WON. $5.00 FOR THE FIRST RECORD AND $0.50 FOR EACH ADDITIONAL RECORD.
THANKS FOR LOOKING AND GOOD LUCK.
