Lot of 20 Vinyl LP Records from the ‘80s..

These are all my personal albums that I either bought on their releases or from a used record store soon after. I’ve had all of them for over 30 years and, though they’re not flawless, I have treated them with the love and care of an obsessed fan.

Zenyatta Mondatta VG+/G/G… Concerned about a couple surface scratches on vinyl, just listened to entire album. Normal background noise. No skips. (Every song is amazing on this album, as you probably know.)

Sparkle in the Rain EX/VG+/VG+ … underrated band. Brilliant album.

How Will the Wolf Survive EX/EX

Special Beat Service VG+/Fair/Fair…vinyl very nice, but cover has ring wear and heavy wear on edges and corners. Inner sleeve wrinkled and edges split.

Neil Young VG+/VG+/VG+… 1980s Neil Young was surprisingly good, including this simple heartfelt album.

Elvis Costello EX/VG+/VG… includes one of his IMO greatest songs: Clubland.

Buzzcocks EX/VG+… this band was without peer.

Big Country EX/VG+/VG+

Peter Gabriel VG/Fair/Fair … the cover and inlay are pretty worn, and I considered removing this album from the lot but it’s such a fantastic, important record — a real treat — and most importantly the vinyl is in good shape.

The Bangles EX/VG+… Susanna Hoffs is HOT.

Icicle Works EX/VG/G… Promo copy with sticker. On this album is their megahit Whisper to a Scream.

Bronski Beat VG+/VG

Gary Myrick VG/VG/VG+… Myrick was another of those talented singer/songwriters difficult to categorize and underappreciated, kind of lost in music’s changes from Rock to New Wave.

(I didn’t include these two records in the lot proper because their covers and inner sleeves were not in good enough condition. However, the vinyl is fine and the records are noteworthy and valuable.)

Seven and the Ragged Tiger G/Fair/G… just listened to entire album. More than normal background noise but no skips.
