The Beatles: Abbey Road 1st Press. Misaligned Apple/No Her Majesty Label/Sleeve.

Full laminated cover without backside flaps, by Garrod & Lofthouse. Misaligned Apple to rear, and with a slight green tint. All indicative of first press sleeves.

The vinyl has the dark green label, and the first label variant of ‘An EMI Recording’ text on two lines and a small 33 1/3 text to the left side. The publishing year is printed with the small copyright (p).

No ‘Her Majesty’ to either the sleeve or label, again indicative of the first press.

Matrix Numbers:

Side 1. YEX 749-2

Side 2. YEX 750-1

The laminated cover has creasing to top left, and minor feathering to opening/scuffing to opening. There is also minor ‘ringing’ visible when held under angled light. The thin spine is in excellent condition, and I’d grade the sleeve as VG.

The patented inner sleeve is white.

‘Made In Great Britain’ to bottom right corner.

The vinyl is minimum VG+, and plays without skips/jumps/sticks, with just minor surface noise. No visible marks, with just minor hairlines.

Overall, I’d grade as minimum VG, though I tend to be quite conservative in my gradings, and maintain a 100% positive feedback rating, largely for vinyl sales. Thus, you can bid with confidence.
