Lovely copy of the original 1957 first pressing of the Jay & Kai + 6 LP by J.J. Johnson and Kai Winding and the Jay and Kai Trombone Octet, on Columbia CL-892. Original 6-eye deep groove pressing, with 1A/1A first pressing stampers, and the early misprinted cover reading "Jai & Kai". The disc has some light scuffing and signs of use but not bad at all. It plays EX with only occasional light background noise, barely. For the most part it plays just about flawlessly. Just a beautiful listening copy. The cover is remarkably clean, with only the faintest beginning of ringwear noticeable at the bottom, and very minor general age. Barely. This is a top, gorgeous original copy that sounds great.
