I am going to list some of my best jazz records, please see my other listings for more from my collection. I have some really nice and rare items in top condition, including lots of Blue Note, Sun Ra etc.
One of the rarest of the Blue Notes. This is strictly graded, and therefore would not suit a person who only collects items in excellent condition. As of writing this today, there is only would other for sale. It is in VG/VG condition on another site priced at £2,000 in the US. This is still a decent playing example. I will start the bidding at 99p and let you decide the value. Good luck!

I use the record collector grading system of Bad / Poor / Good (G) / Very Good / Excellent / Mint.
I also use a + or a - for grades that I consider slightly better or worse.
A VG disc on this site will not be is nasty condition like many sellers.
I never ship records inside the picture covers!
All records are sent out in PVC covers.
Cover - Good+: Graded thus due to a split along the bottom. Other 2 sides are solid. Apart from this, the cover has normal wear, and would have otherwise been graded strong VG. Tiny pen mark with historic tape mark. As you will see from the photos, the sleeve is still presentable. No heavy ringwear.
The Record - Good-: The disc is graded Good- as it has a lot of surface wear and marks over both sides. However, being strong pressings, the disc plays very well all this considered. Tested on 2 different high end record players, it play grades nearer Very Good, with the ballad showing more noticeable crackle for obvious reasons.
The Labels - Very Good+: Both labels are in great condition, as you can see, with just some light age wear.
The Inner Cover - Comes with brand new inner.
Genuine 1st press with 767 Lexington Ave address on back sleeve and labels, RVG and plastylite (ear) in deadwax and flat edge disc.

Update: There is one other copy for sale on ebay.com for $4,759.00 This copy is not graded and a copy on May 29th 2022 on ebay.com completed listings sold for $4,405.00. This was in better condition.
