David Bowie- Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence Soundtrack LP Obi London L28N 1008.
The record has one very light scuff visible on side one and nothing I can detect on side two. This record has had very few plays in my opinion and I’ve been collecting for over 50 years.
The cover does have flaws- 2 slightly dog-eared corners, sticker residue on the front cover about 1” x 1/2”, some chafing on the obi strip and ring wear at the top and bottom of the front cover. The back cover is in much better condition with just a touch of ring wear along the top and no other flaws I can detect.
Aside from the London catalog number stamped, the side 1 run-out has “1-1-2s” and “1HG3” also stamped. Side 2 has the cat. # and “1-2-14” and that’s it. (Forgive my 66 year-old eyes, that’s the best description they provided me.)
It comes with the original lyric sheet and plain inner sleeve that has discolored a bit over the years.
All in all though a nice collectible spanning Bowie memorabilia, soundtrack collecting and import/ obi strip collecting.
