Here is a ‘time capsule’ from 1967: the first stereo pressing of Younger Than Yesterday with the vinyl LP STILL SEALED in the plastic ‘baggie’ inner (many Columbia LPs were produced this way rather than in a paper inner sleeve). The vinyl is presumed MINT and looks pristine through the plastic. The ‘360 sound’ labels are obviously also pristine. The thick card cover is Ex with tiny staple holes in the top left corner (I have a feeling some USA LPs were displayed in this manner as I have other 1960s USA sleeves with the same tiny holes). The sleeve is made with a slight bend on the bottom edge, hard to photograph but it’s not very significant. The sealed vinyl and cover are each stored in a new polythene sleeve for dispatch.
