DESCRIPTIONS VARY FROM G+ TO EXCELLENT, WITH SOME VINYLS NEAR MINT. LIKEWISE, SLEEVES AND INNERS VARY IN CONDITION.

I usually play test all my records for sale, but these were recently acquired at a garage/car boot sale, and due to time and storage space constraints, and the fact that I’ve other items for sale, including Beatles records, (please take a look), all of which I’ve play tested this week, these are offered as seen.

However, ‘With The Beatles’ is the first press mis-print Jobete credit for Money, so you might get a bargain.

Plus, the Robert Fripp album ‘Network’ has ‘PROMOTIONAL COPY NOT FOR RESALE’ to sleeve rear.

Given the above, all vinyl gradings below, are visual only, though I will do my best to point out any obvious floors, and will include basic pressing information for each record.

WITH THE BEATLES. PMC 1206

Vinyl:

Matrix Side 1: XEX 447-1N

Matrix Side 2: XEX 448-1N

Appearance. Minimum VG+, with very few marks/scratches/hairlines. Looks surprisingly good, given the condition of the sleeve.

Likewise, the labels, that have minor spindle ware.

Sleeve. Fair/Good. Some rips/tares/feathering/marks etc.

Plain white inner.

McCARTNEY: TUG OF WAR. PCTC 259

Vinyl:

Matrix Side 1: PCTC 259 A-1OU (‘Pushing & Pulling etching)

Matrix Side 2: PCTC 259 B-1OU (same etching)

Appearance. Excellent; barely a blemish. Likewise the labels. Nr Mint.

Sleeve. G+. Some scuffing/shelf ware.

Lyric inner is VG. Minor creasing/marks.

LENNON: THE JOHN LENNON COLLECTION. EMTV 37.

Vinyl:

Matrix Side 1: A-7-1-1

Matrix Side 2: B-3-1-4

Appearance. As McCartney album above, likewise the labels. Excellent/Nr Mint.

Sleeve. G+. Some scuffing/shelf ware.

Lyric Inner is VG+. Clean, and free of ware.

Vinyl.

Matrix Side 2. B1

Appearance. Nr Mint, with barely a mark to vinyl or labels.

Sleeve. (With hype sticker). VG+. Very little creasing/shelf ware.

Lyric Inner. G+. Some feathering/seam split.

Vinyl.

Side 1 Matrix. 4A11 (plus various other marks difficult to read)

Side 2 Matrix. 4B11 (as side 1 markings).

Appearance. Vinyl looks mint; small mark to side 2 label. Superb.

Sleeve. VG+, but with ‘PROMOTIONAL COPY NOT FOR RESALE’ to rear.

Plain white inner. Excellent.

Vinyl.

Side 1 Matrix. A-1-U-1-1-1 (plus other illegible marks)

Side 2 Matrix. 3-1-U-1-1-1 (as above).

Appearance. Vinyl looks near mint. Barely a mark, likewise the labels.

Sleeve. Still wrapped in cellophane cover (ripped), maintaining the integrity of the sleeve.

Plain white inner. Excellent.

ROY ORBISON. ROY ORBISON SINGS. (Jerry Lee Lewis, Tommy Roe). ALL778

Vinyl.

Side 1 Matrix. A+ (also, scratched out matrix)

Side 2 Matrix. B+ (as above).

Appearance. Occasional marks/hairlines, but generally VG+; likewise the labels, with just light spindle ware.

Sleeve. Superb. Very little creasing/marks. Fantastically strong spine. Excellent.

Plain white inner. Excellent.

FRANK SINATRA. NICE ‘N’ EASY. W1417 (Capitol rainbow)

Vinyl.

Side 1 Matrix. 1417-1N

Side 2 Matrix. 1417-2N

Appearance. Side 1 looks excellent; side 2 has a few marks/hairlines. The rainbow labels are bright and clean. Excellent. KT to side 2 label.

Sleeve. G+. Some creasing/feathering/shelf ware.

Plain white inner. VG.

THE EVERLY BROTHERS. STORIES WE COULD TELL. CDS 1142

Vinyl.

Side 1 Matrix. A-1E

Side 2 Matrix. B-1E

Appearance. Nr Mint, with barely a mark/any sign of play. Likewise the labels. Excellent.

Sleeve. VG. Some ringing to rear, but rip/tare/graffiti free, with beautifully strong spine.

Plain white inner. VG+.

40 ROCK ‘N’ ROLL CLASSICS. TELLY 5 (Gatefold Double Vinyl)

Vinyl.

Side 1 Matrix. 5 A 1

Side 2 Matrix. 5 B 1

Side 3 Matrix. 5 C 3

Side 4 Matrix. 5 D 2

Appearance. Side 1 looks VG+, though Side 2 has prominent scratches, with one slightly feelable.

Sides 3 and 4 look excellent, with barely a mark. All four labels are clean and bright.

Sleeve. The g/f is VG+. No rips/tares, just a few marks/dirt, that would probably clean off.

Plain white inner (one only) VG+.

I’d give an overall grading as VG, whilst as the descriptions above suggest, some are above this grading, with some perhaps below. I do though tend to be quite conservative in my gradings/descriptions, as being a collector myself, I appreciate that accurate and honest grading is paramount. Thus, I retain a 100% positive feedback rating, so rest assured, you can bid with confidence.
