The vinyl on this one is great. EXCEPT for the first half of "Into the Sun". The 1st song on side two. There are 5 'tic' noises. For the life of me I can't figure it out. The rest of the album plays great!!! So, it's not perfect, but still pretty darn good. The cover is pretty good. Typical shelf wear. Grand Funk (commonly known as The Red Album) is the second by American rock band . The album was released on December 29, 1969 by , just four months after their debut . It was produced by and engineered by Ken Hamann. The album was certified gold by the , the first for the group. It includes a cover of ' "" which is still a cornerstone of the band's live concerts today.
