Beatles/Lennon & McCartney/The Rolling Stones (4 Albums) + EP.

None of these records have been tested.

They are left over from various bundles of records that I’ve recently bought, and though I usually play test all records for sale (please see other listings), I don’t have time to play them all.

None of these records/sleeves, could really be described as anything better than Good+, on visual inspection, other than Rolling Stones 2, with the vinyl being minimum VG+ visually.

The sleeves have some seam splits, scuffing, shelf ware etc, whilst the vinyl have marks/hairlines, some scratching. Please understand that before bidding, as no returns are available on these.

I will do my best to visually describe and grade the vinyl and sleeves, pointing out any obvious defects.

The Beatles: Abbey Road.

First Press Vinyl (?). No ‘Her Majesty’ on label.

Matrix: YEX 749-2 & 750-1

Vinyl G+

Side 1 Retains some sheen, but has light marks/hairlines/scratches. Nothing deep or feelable.

Side 2 As side 1, though with a couple of feelable scratches.

Side 1 label has some spindle ware, but is clean/graffiti free.

Side 2 label has less spindle ware. No ‘Her Majesty’.

Comes in ‘Patent Applied For’ plain white inner. (Seam split to bottom & some feathering to opening).

Sleeve. VG+

2nd press laminated G&L. No ‘Her Majesty’ to rear. Some light creasing, very little shelf ware. Spine is strong, clean & scuff free.

The Rolling Stones.

Matrix Side 1: XARL-6619-2A (1 Mother).

Matrix Side 2: XARL-6620-1A (1 Mother).

Vinyl G+/VG

Side 1. Retains some sheen, but has light marks/hairlines/obvious signs of play. Nothing deep or feelable.

Side 2. As side 1.

Labels.

Side 1 label is bright & clean, though has the name ‘Jackie’ on it. No visible spindle ware.

Side 2 label is bright and clean, and graffiti free. No visible spindle ware.

Protective ploy-lined inner is VG+.

Sleeve. (Pasted over ‘Blind Man’ text).

Front laminated sleeve has some creasing.

The name ‘Jackie’ to a rear panel that’s in VG condition. Just a few marks.

Very little scuffing, and a strong easily legible spine.

Wings At The Speed Of Sound. (With inner).

Matrix Side 1: YEX 953-6U

Matrix Side 2: YEX 954-5U

Vinyl: VG

Side 1 has a small number of hairlines, but is VG.

Side 2 as side 1.

Labels.

Side 1 & Side 2 labels are bright, clean, graffiti free, with barely visible spindle ware.

Inner Sleeve G+. An inch seam split to bottom. Rip through ‘Linda’ to reverse.

Sleeve. G+

Some scuffing to all edges, including spine.

Lennon: Double Fantasy with lyric inner & protective inner.

Matrix Side 1: W-21 K 99131 A3

Matrix Side 2: W-23kd GHS-2-2001

Vinyl: VG

Both side 1 & 2.

Some visible marks/hairlines, and light scratches. Nothing heavy.

Side 1 label: Clean, bright, graffiti free. Ex

Side 2 label: As side 1. Ex

Lyric Inner. Ex

Minimal/barely any marks. No tares/graffiti or seam splits.

Protective Inner. Ex

Laminate Sleeve. G+

Some creasing, scuffs, shelfware, including to spine.

Beatles Golden Discs EP. (Quite tatty plain white inner).

Side 1 Matrix: 7TCE 888-1

Side 2 Matrix: 7TCE 889-1

KT Tax code to side 2 label (embossed).

Vinyl G.

Quite a lot hairlines/marks scratches etc.

So 4 albums, in varying condition, plus an EP.

As stated above, they are not play tested, so sold as seen, with no returns.

I tend to be quite conservative in my gradings/descriptions, as being a collector myself, I appreciate that accurate and honest grading is paramount. Thus, I retain a 100% positive feedback rating, so rest assured, you can bid with confidence.
