'Round About Midnight - Miles Davis - 1957 - CL 949 - Jazz Columbia 6 eye. Here's the scoop, both sides of record play tested. Side one, song One very light surface noise through most of the song. Song 2, and song three, good no issues. Side two is easily graded a gold mine standard very good. Where side one I would grade more of a gold mine standard very good plus. Side two, song One couple loud ticks one is almost a skip but doesn't skip. Smaller lighter ticks throughout song one. Song to some lighter surface noise heard a couple occasional like ticks. But not as many on song one. Song 3 plays good. Album bought without an inner sleep. I had an older Columbia inner sleeve might not have been appropriate and came with this original record. But it seems to be in the ballpark. Please note previous owner put black electrical tape on all three sides. More obvious on the back side. Please note ownership writing back cover upper right. A good deep proper cleaning will clean up most of the sound. But the ticks might end up staying but be less of an issue
