Up for auction:
Artist: Bill Evans Trio Title: Waltz For Debby
Record Description: Riverside deep groove black/silver Stereophonic labels
Side A Visual / Play Grade: VG. I tried to picture the mark described on side B on this side, but it really isn't nearly as bad. The mark creates a soft click for about a minute but it really isn't too bad or overpowering. Does not skip or jump. After that, the side plays pretty great. Some light background noise in parts, but never dominates. Rest of the side is a solid VG, if not VG+.
Side B Visual / Play Grade: G+. This side has a nasty mark on B1 (please see pics). It's about an inch long and is noticeable. Mark definitely creates a pretty heavy click for about half the song or less. Did not jump or skip for me, just a heavy click (no promises on your setup). After the mark the vinyl looks VG/VG+ and plays fantastic. Some light background noise in a couple spots, but nothing major at all. Pretty solid VG+ to my ears after the mark.
Cover: G+. Not too far from VG. Some ring wear and other general wear to front. Back has small piece missing. I assume that's what created the mark on the vinyl. Some paper loss on the back bottom. Edges and spine show some wear. Hint of a split at the bottom opening.
Some extra information about my auctions:
Grading Notes: I try my very best to grade accurately and conservatively. Everything listed here has been given a full and recent play test. For my listings, I'll be describing the playing surface of each side visually and giving them a grade based on what I've seen in shops and online. I'll also be playing each side of the record and assigning them a grade based on the criteria below. Just want to provide as much info as possible as to what you are going to receive. I listen to mono records in mono and stereo records in stereo.
M: Won't be used. NM: Perfect record and cover. Generally only used for sealed records. EX (VG++): Could have a few seconds of light noise or a tic, but should play pretty much perfectly. VG+: Some light noise background noise coming up occasionally and maybe a few soft tics, but should never get in the way of enjoyment of the music. VG: Might have some repeating tics or a longer duration of noise than a VG+, but absolutely enjoyable still. G+: Heavier noise, clicks or crackling are all possible through all or most of the song. I also use this grade for records that may have a jump or repeating skip. I'll note this when/if applicable. G: Heavy clicking and crackle throughout likely. Might have multiple jumps/skips.
All records have been cleaned on a VPI and placed into a new inner sleeve. Most of the time the original inner sleeve will not be included. If it is there, it will be pictured or mentioned in the listing. Please feel free to check with me if you would like to know.
Cover Grading: I'll always put a grade on the cover, but I think your eyes are the best judge for the front/back. I'll tell you about any wear or splits to the top/bottom edge. I'll describe wear to the spine and if it is legible.
Shipping: All items are carefully packed and shipped via USPS Media Mail. Each LP is $5 and $1 extra for multiple wins. If you'd like to upgrade to Priority or would like to add insurance, please let me know before you pay and I can make the adjustment. I'm pretty quick to get packages out, most likely within 24 hours of payment.
International shipping is done via USPS and is $28. Each additional is $4. If you win more than two LPs, I'd like to discuss the best and cheapest way to get you your records after the auctions. I've found that costs vary so much and are hard to predict country to country and a case by case basis for larger orders is the best method.
Other: Any record listed in G+ or worse condition are sold As Is. International orders are sold As Is. I will not do partial refunds. Returns within the USA are accepted.
Thank you for stopping by!!
