THE BEATLES- Yesterday And Today butcher cover rare Stereo (ST-2553)

For sale is a rare original 3rd state stereo pressing of the infamous Beatles “butcher cover”. As you may know, the stereo pressings are rarer than mono copies, making this extra desirable.

Cover- grades G to G+. REALLY REALLY nice peel job, one of the best amateur peels I’ve ever seen. Someone did an excellent job on this, and the original butcher image looks quite clear with very few tears and bits of old paper from original slick remaining. Very impressive job, but cover seems to received some water damage notable at bottom right corner and on corresponding back side corner. Bottom seam is completely split, and up to about three inches on bottom spine. Spine has a lot of rub wear. Top seam split almost exactly halfway to center of cover. A couple small tears and stains as seen in photos. More stains on back. Large name written in marker on front and on back.

Record- vinyl is a nice glossy VG+. In well taken care of condition with a few fine sleeve scuffs that can’t be felt. Labels look nice with just a bit of title text not fully printed on one side label. Included a tattered original inner sleeve, but I’ll be shipping record inside new paper inner sleeve and include the tattered inner sleeve on the side.
