Italian tenor Beniamino Gigli was a renowned and influential classical singer from the 1930s onwards and all his works are collectable particularly rare performances. This 'Mascagni's 'Cavalleria Rusticana' and Leoncavallo's 'I Pagliacci'' is a 1950s HMV label 3 LP box set of classic 1940 and 1934 recordings with La Scala Milan, the former conducted by Mascagni himself.
On offer is the rare apparently original pressing of all three LPs in very good playable condition in original slightly worn box but without any inserts (I don't know whether there were any originally). I will post with secure additional packaging for a desirable 3 album box set.
