PLAY TESTED DECEMBER 3rd. EXCELLENT PLUS/NEAR MINT AUDIO.

MONO PMC 7027. FIRST EVER PRESSING. FIRST PRESS MATRIX. 1 MOTHER TO SIDE 1. GATEFOLD WIDE SPINE FLIP BACK LAMINATED SLEEVE WITH ORIGINAL NEAR MINT CUT-OUTS, AND ORIGINAL EXCELLENT CONDITION ‘FLAME’ INNER. KT TAX CODE TO SIDE 1 CENTRE.

The audio is absolutely excellent plus/near mint, throughout, with barely/if any crackle or pop throughout. In fact, even the intros are superb, and the only ‘clicks’ I heard, where 2/3 faint clicks as ‘Fixing A Hole’ fades out. Beautifully quiet between tracks.

A truly superb audio experience.

VISUAL - EXCELLENT PLUS.

Visually, there is a glossy sheen, with barely any marks/hairlines/very light scuffs visible, even under an angled light. There is one faint mark/hairline across the first two tracks of side 2, but it’s only really visible under angled light.

LABELS. EXCELLENT PLUS

The labels are bright, strong, clean and graffiti free on both sides, and are again excellent, with just some very minor spindle ware.

KT embossed tax code to side 1.

CUT-OUT - NEAR MINT

Original cut-out, in near mint condition, with just the tiniest/barely visible amount of ware/signs of storage.

GATEFOLD WIDE SPINE SLEEVE - VERY GOOD+

The laminated g/f sleeve is clean and bright, though with some shelf ware/creasing throughout. The wide spine has some creasing, and relatively light scuffs to its corners.

The rear has a crease/slight crack about half way down.

The inner g/f is bright, clean, with a little creasing/ware to the hinge. The opening edges are clean and defined, with just a little ‘feathering’.

It is the first pressing sleeve, with internal fold over seams/flip backs on the inside, and is in VG+ overall glossy condition.

‘FLAME INNER’. VG+

The original ‘Patents Applied For’ ‘flame’ ‘The Fool’ designed inner, is VG+, with just minor lifting to the top right seam (‘Patents Applied For’ side). No tares or rips, just some minor creases.

In conclusion, this is a lovely, original first press mono, with, minimum excellent+ audio, housed in the rare wide spine variant gatefold sleeve, with cut-out card and ‘fool’ inner, which I’d give an overall grading as VG++. I do though tend to be quite conservative in my gradings/descriptions, as being a collector myself, I appreciate that accurate and honest grading is paramount. Thus, I retain a 100% positive feedback rating, so rest assured, you can bid with confidence.
