Oliver Nelson on New Jazz 8255
This is the original deep-groove RVG-stamped pressing of Oliver Nelson “Straight Ahead” on the purple and silver labels of New Jazz NJLP 8255. The playing surface is immaculate, with a high luster; perhaps played once. The laminated cover is immaculate throughout, with just ¼” wear on the bottom seam, at the opening. Personnel include Eric Dolphy, Richard Wyands, George Duvivier, and Roy Haynes.
