Absolutely gorgeous original 1967 copy of the Beatles' incredible double A-side single, Strawberry Fields Forever / Penny Lane, on Capitol swirl 5810. The disc is pretty much perfectly mint and plays flawlessly and just beautifully. If you have never heard the original 45 it is really something to hear. This is the best sounding pressing of these songs there is, way better than the later LP versions that are on Magical Mystery Tour. Just incredible presence. And this copy is simply superb. You couldn't ask for a better disc. The sleeve has very slight wear, with staple holes at the upper left and very slight wrinkling, but really not bad. Also there is a date written in pencil on the back, Feb. 25, 1967, which coincidentally happens to be George Harrison's birthday... Minor flaws on the sleeve, which is really just beautiful, and the disc is stunning. A hard copy to top.
