NM/M-: A nearly perfect record. The record should show no obvious signs of wear.
Very Good Plus (VG+): Will show some signs that it was played and otherwise handled by a previous owner who took good care of it.
Very Good (VG): Noticeable groove wear and light scratches. Surface noise will not overpower the music.
Good (G): Can play without skipping. Significant scratches, surface noise, and groove wear.
