Lovely copy of the 1970 pressing of Muddy Waters' Down on Stovall's Plantation LP on Testament T-2210. These are his very first recordings, made by Alan Lomax for the Library of Congress in 1941-42. Rarer yellow label with the old Josh White drawing. The disc has some of that spotting and streaking that forms over time from the acid in the paper sleeve, but it isn't damage. You can see these spots but it isn't at all an issue with playing it. This copy plays just about flawlessly and quite beautifully. A couple of light sleeve scuffs also, but barely. Really a beautiful playing copy. The cover has light edgewear me ringwear. Still very nice. This is a wonderful copy.
